I built a TARDIS
Here’s a video for the lovers of anticlimactic finales! =D
1) Do NOT try this at home! If you build a TARDIS, use proper tools, protection and your brain at all times!
2) I envy and worship every person who works for the BBC props department! I will however do anything for a bad joke.
3) If this isn’t enough TARDIS for you, you can take a look at my build diary on tardisbuilders.com: http://tardisbuilders.com/index.php?topic=3153.0
4) I obviously don’t really play the nose flute nor the musical saw, although my skills on both instruments are actually slightly better than in the video. She made a TARDIS!!!! A life-sized, collapsible one. And then made an awesome video about making it.
Dear Madam,
I would like you and I to be friends.
I will have to make do with subscribing to her youtube channel.
Seriously, she is wonderful, clearly talented, funny and just all around adorable.
Part 5 of the photos…
And I swear this is the last one. See why it took me a week to do this?
If anybody feels the need to go on a BBQ road trip, I highly recommend it. It was a lot of fun, a lot of eating and a lot of drinking.
But now that we’re back safe in our house, I need to get back to a regular schedule. I’ve still been continually eating since I got back. I’ve gained 6 lbs. Not good.
Part 4 of the photos.
I promise there is just a few more left, so stay with me.
Part 3 of the photos.
These photos here are from the Atlanta Aquarium, where my brother swam with a whale shark.
Part 2 of the trip photos. More to come.
I’m sorry to say but what you see here is all the photos of the delicious food we ate. Like I said, I suck as a tourist.
WOW! It’s been a week since our return back to Chicago and I finally getting around to uploading some photos from the BBQ Quest.
I may be a decent photographer, but honestly, I am no good at be a tourist photographer. I take that as a complement. Regardless, I didn’t end up taking as many photos as I would have liked, especially of the food. I mean that was the point, right? But here they are anyways.
Since I can only upload ten (How lame) at a time, there will be a few posts to come.
Website Troubles
So after spending countless hours trying to create a new website in WordPress, it decided that I was not able to have administration privileges. It was so frustrating.
I looked all over the internet for similar problems. I tried everything that I could think of. But in the end the only thing that seemed to work was starting over. And that includes creating a new database.
Luckily, everything seems to be working now.
I’ve created a new database, reinstalled the WordPress files, and installed all the plugins I had. I managed to get all my menus set up.
From here, I need to add in all the content I had and edit the CSS again. Fortunately for me, there wasn’t a whole lot done with it.
So even with this setback, I hope to get everything up and running soon.
